Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 10 amβ5 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Brooklyn is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

These 5 star reviews must be fake because when I took my son here today, it was appaling experience. The toys are very dirty, broken, and probably haven't been washed for years, complete cess pool of bacteria. The dental chairs are set up like a hair salon, but it's a DENTAL OFFICE? Isn't this a HIPAA violation?? This would be my son's first visit here, and when they called his name, they did not specify which child they're calling for, despite the fact there's another child who ALSO has the same first name. They act like YOU are supposed to know which child they're calling for, and don't even say a surname. Pretty sure they mixed up the patient profiles between my son and the other child. Then they made my son do an x-ray, and tell me "oh oopsie the x-ray isn't working!" And then they can't even tell if my son has a cavity BUT THEN they say he needs a new crown, BUT THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW IF HE HAS CAVITIES? What kind of SCAM is this? Or is this pure incompetence? I'm so disgusted with this dental office, my son only had HALF a teeth cleaning because they didn't want to deal with a child unless they are given nitrous oxide. I thought you guys were supposed to know how to deal wi

We had a great experience at Kids Dental 18th Avenue! The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. The doctor and assistant were both amazing, patient, and professional with our child. Everything was explained clearly, and the visit went smoothly. We also loved that the kids receive a small gift after their appointment β it made the experience even more special.

Yesterday we visited Kids Dental, and Dr. Anastasia examined and treated my children. Unfortunately, she is not often in your office, but she was very professional and did an excellent job. It is clear that she is highly experienced and knows her work very well. I would love for her to see and treat my children more often. We really liked this doctor a lot and were very impressed with her care and professionalism.πππ
